Upcoming Events and Offers:

*Winter Camp- January 2 & 3 from 12-4 p.m. at Just Sew in Highland. Students can choose to do 1 or 2 days. Special camp cost is $10 an hour. Students can work on their current projects or projects that have not been finished yet. Class size will be limited to 8 students, first come, first served. Snacks and drinks will be provided.

1 class= $40
2 classes= $80

We provide the machines and miscellaneous sewing supplies and our students supply their own fabric, elastic, ribbon, thread, etc. 

New students are welcome and encouraged to attend. Camps are the perfect time to learn to sew. We'll start at the beginning and get as much done in 4-8 hrs. as we can. New students are asked to purchase a simple skirt pattern for $4.50 Contact Emily for further information regarding camps and new students.

Sewing Lessons are the  perfect gift for the young sewer.

Gift certificates will be available for:
*Winter/Spring Sewing Semester- This certificate will gift your student with two, 2 hour lessons each month covering Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr/May. $15 an hour for 1 student, $12.50 an hour for 2 students, $10 an hour for 3 or more students. Gather a group and qualify for the discounted hourly tuition! Certificate and small gift bag w/supplies for their first project will be put together by our staff @ $10 a bag/certificate. Tuition for each month is due at the beginning of the month and new students are asked to purchase a pattern packet for $36. This semester package is good at any of our 4 locations.

Upcoming Sewing Camps

The Sewing Academy will be offering day camps on the following days at Just Sew in Highland:

Fall Camp- October 10 & 11, 12-3 p.m.

   $30 for one day or $55 for both days

New Year Camp- January 2 & 3, 12-3 p.m.

   $30 for one day or $55 for both days

Classes will be capped at 8 students and will fill quickly. Students work on projects of their choice. The Fall Camp is the perfect time for your creative cuties to get a head start on Christmas gifts. Need a gift idea? How about a foot pillow for big brother or a bedside catchall for little sis?

All students attending classes at Just Sew have access to their beautiful line of fabrics and receive a 20% discount on all supplies purchased there.

2013 Fall Semester Schedule

We are so excited for fall classes to start and to announce our new location at Hobby Lobby in American Fork! With the closure of The Quilting Cottage quickly approaching we were worried we wouldn't have a home for the fall in American Fork, but to our great luck (&blessings!) Hobby Lobby was thrilled to have us join their class schedule.

Registration is now open for our fall semester. Students are registering for the FULL fall semester, which will run September, October, November and December. Classes will start September 3rd.

Early Bird Registration Discount:

 Register by August 15 and receive $10 off your first month's tuition.

Students register for either the 1st and 3rd or 2nd and 4th class rotation schedule. For example, Olivia will attend class on the 1st and 3rd Mondays of the month from 4-6 p.m. Please see our Basic Information for pricing and class structure.

Cost is $120 ($10 an hour for 12 hrs.)

Summer Sewing Camp Registration Now Open

Come join us for our Summer Sewing Camp!

*Special camp cost will be $10 an hour regardless of the number of students signing up.
*New students are required to purchase a pattern packet for $36.
*Preregistration is required.
*$40 non-refundable registration fee required. $40 will be credited towards the cost of the camp. Remainder of tuition due the first day of camp.
*Students attend 1x a week in a 2 hour block of time. For example, Olivia will attend Mondays 10-12.
*We supply the machines, scissors, pins, etc.
*Our students supply their own fabric, thread, elastic, ribbon, etc. 

Make-up classes will be available for students who miss class due to vacation, sickness or scheduled class falling on a holiday OR students who register after the start date on June 3.

*8 week camp: June 3- Aug 16 (accounts for holidays and Shop Hop)
Cost $160 (+ cost of pattern packet for new students and supplies throughout summer)

Fashion Show Winners!

 Two of our students, Ava and Lynsie, have won the last TWO fashion shows sponsored by Kids Can Sew. Ava won for February and Lynsie won for March.  Ava won with her perfectly pink blouse and skirt and Lynsie took home the top prize with her dreamy purple heart nightgown. Both girls won $25 Target gift cards.Way to go girls!
