will be available for:

*Winter/Spring Sewing Semester- This certificate will gift your student with two, 2 hour lessons each month covering Jan/Feb/Mar/Apr/May. $15 an hour for 1 student, $12.50 an hour for 2 students, $10 an hour for 3 or more students. Gather a group and qualify for the discounted hourly tuition! Certificate and small gift bag w/supplies for their first project will be put together by our staff @ $10 a bag/certificate. Returning students will receive a special bag specific to their level. Contact Emily @ 801-360-4450 or sewkidsutah@gmail.com to preorder your kit. Tuition for each month is due at the beginning of the month and new students are asked to purchase a pattern packet for $40. This semester package is good at any of our 3 locations.

Fall Schedule: Registration Now Open

The Sewing Academy offers sewing classes for children age 7 and up and for beginners to more advanced sewers. Our students work through the "Kids Can Sew" pattern series. This series includes a variety of clothing patterns and craft sewing projects. Students are also given the opportunity to do sewing projects outside the pattern series. See our sewing projects page for projects and required supply information.

*Classes are $15 an hour, $12.50 if you sign up with a friend or just $10 an hour if you sign up with two or more friends.
*Students are asked to purchase pattern packets from the "Kids Can Sew" series for $40. Each packet provides up to 50 hrs. of sewing time.
*Classes are normally held in 2 hour blocks of time. 

 *Students commit to attending for a full semester and attend 2x a month,  ie: Olivia will attend the 1st and 3rd Mondays of every month.
*Tuition is due on a monthly basis and is due at the beginning of each month.
*We provide the teacher, machines, basic supplies (scissors, pins, etc.). One machine per student.
*Students provide their own fabric, elastic, ribbon, etc.
*There is one teacher for every 4 students w/an 8 student maximum per class and 2 student minimum. 
*Students receive a discount from the shop they attend class at.
