The Sewing Academy offers sewing classes for children age 7 and up and for beginners to more advanced sewers. Our students work through the "Kids Can Sew" pattern series. This series includes a variety of clothing patterns and craft sewing projects. Students are also given the opportunity to do sewing projects outside the pattern series. *Classes are $15 an hour, $12.50 if you sign up with a friend or just $10 an hour if you sign up with two or more friends.
*Students are asked to purchase pattern packets from the "Kids Can Sew" series for $40. Each packet provides up to 50 hrs. of sewing time.
*Classes are held in 2 hour blocks of time.
*Students commit to attending for a full semester and attend 2x a
month, ie: Olivia will attend the 1st and 3rd Mondays of
every month. Students are welcome to attend more than 2x a month.
*Tuition is due on a monthly basis and is due at the beginning of each month.
*We provide the teacher, machines, basic supplies (scissors, pins, etc.). One machine per student.
*Students provide their own fabric, elastic, ribbon, etc.
*There is one teacher for every 4 students w/an 8 student maximum per class and 2 student minimum.
*Students receive a discount from the shop they attend class at.
*Tuition is due on a monthly basis and is due at the beginning of each month.
